As a mother of children ranging from elementary through college, I understand the full arc of a student’s educational journey and the evolving needs at each stage. My experience teaching financial literacy to youth ages 7–18 has strengthened my commitment to equipping students with both academic excellence and real-world readiness. This perspective allows me to approach Local School Council responsibilities—budget oversight, school improvement planning, and principal evaluation—with a long-term lens, thoughtful stewardship, and a deep respect for the thriving culture already supporting our students.
